JOSÉ JULIO CARNERERO ROLDÁN has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Almería (1995) and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching from the University of Córdoba (1991). He earned the Postgraduate Expert Diploma in Autism at the University of Málaga (2000) with the first graduating class.

He completed his PhD course with Honourable Mention in the "Behavioral Applied Program” directed by Doctor Carmen Luciano, Professor of the University of Almería. He is Honorary Collaborator in the University of Córdoba.

He gave theoretical and practical classes in the Summer Courses of the University of Oviedo and at present he is lecturer and tutor in the Master of ABA Intervention in Autism and other Developmental Disorders organized by ABA Spain.

He gave seminars, courses and lectures in different Spanish and foreign  institutions, for example the Self-governing University of Sinaloa (México), the Federal University of Paraná, Curitiba; the University of the Americas, Foz do Iguaçu; ITAIPU Foundation, Foz do Iguaçu and the Teacher Center of Brasilia (Brazil). He is tutor of the students of the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology nd the students of the Degree in Education who are doing work experience from the Universities of Cordoba, Almeria, Granada and Malaga.

He is a member of the research group of Dr. Luis Antonio Pérez González and he performs researches about language development, especially about the teaching of the basic verbal skills and the language emergency.

He stayed in "The David Gregory School", in New Jersey, USA, to receive a practical training in supervising programs for children with autism tutored by Dr. Gladys Williams. Likewise, he has been in the University of Columbia, New York, as a visitor, linked with CABAS Schools® directed by Dr. Douglas Greer. He is the supervisor of two programs for the teaching of children with autism in Mexico. e has done more than 30 presentations in conferences as well as publications in journals about behavior analysis like JABA.

He is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), of the SIG Autism, and of the specific group of Spanish SIG. He is a member of the ABA Association in Spain, of AETAPI (Spanish Association of Autism Therapists) and of ATAI (Interprofessional Association for Early Attention in Andalucia). Member of the board of the Association “Andalucía Investigación y Aprendizaje” (Andalucia, Research and Learning). Registered in the Psychologists Association of West Andalucia.

 

ANA PASTOR SANZ has a Degree in Special Education (1999) and a Bachelor's Degree in Educational Psychology (2002) of the University of Cordoba as well as a Master in Rehabilitation of the Language and Speech Disorders (2001) in the ISEP. Logopedia. 

She is the supervisor of the Therapists Group as well as of the Families Program and supervisor of the Transition to Ordinary School Program. Her applied training in the area of the behavior analysis has been achieved by teaching children with autism or other development disorders. She has a wide experience and she is an expert in language development and in programs for the vocal articulation acquisition.

She did a practical training in the United States teaching in a home program directed by Dr. Gladys Williams.

For some time she has been the tutor of students doing work experience of the University and other institutions.  

She attends lectures about applied behavior analysis with her own presentations and she was sometimes invited to give conferences in Cordoba and Murcia.

She participates in researches devoted to teaching children with autism.

She was finalist in the fourth contest “EMPRENDE” organized by the Business Confederation of Andalucia in the year 2005.

Dr. Luis Antonio Pérez González

Area of Program Research, Development and Assessment.

 

He is Professor of Human Learning in the University of Oviedo. He is an specialist in investigating in language learning process and effective procedures to educate children with special needs. He did post-doctoral researches in international centers, he published many articles in the most prestigious journals about human learning and autism and he presented more than 130 works in international congress. He organized and directed 8 Summer Courses of the University of Oviedo, with a great impact because of the level of satisfaction caused in students, parents y professionals. He is president of the Spanish Association of Behavior Analysis (ABA Spain) and he is coordinator of the Master of ABA Intervention in Autism and other Developmental Disorders.

 

Dr. Pérez-González, works as an advisor about teaching procedures carried out in Al-Mudarïs® and he manages the R&D group of the center. It is devoted to the families' enquiries about the methodology here developed, about the programs' effectiveness, and about the implementation of new specific programs that require a special attention or a great challenge.

Dra. Martha Peláez

Area of Programs with Families

 

Proffessor of Psychology in the Florida International University, Miami, United States.

She is an internationally recognized specialist in children development, particularly in the first stage of their lives. he has done important researches about inducement to vocal imitation, social referencing, children attachment, children emotional welfare and acquisition of stimulus equivalence. She has published in the most famous scientific journals in the United States.

Dr. Peláez's advising consists of the advice to families about everyday problems of social interaction and strengthening of developmental skills. Families may receive her advice in specific aspects of children attachment, breeding styles, familiar interaction styles, food and dream habits, to prevent jealously between siblings and emotional problems, etc.
